Edward Gorey's Dracula

Edward Gorey collectors - Your help is needed! In anticipation of the 40th anniversary of the Nantucket production of Dracula, with sets and costumes by Edward Gorey, a revival of the original production is in the planning stages.

John Wulp, producer of the original pre-Broadway production, is looking for help in locating and obtaining copies of the original set & costume designs, which have been sold and now are in private collections. I have been able to provide images for several set pieces, but more is needed. If anyone has any original artwork from the Nantucket production's set or costume designs, please contact me at ampootozote@aol.com.

Sorry, that is not the purpose of this request. If anyone does have artwork from this production, it will be strictly confidential. I am working to help Mr. Wulp and the theater recreate the production and will pass the visual information directly to him or will put the person in contact with him, depending on what they prefer.

My personal contributions can be found by searching for "Dracula" in the box on the upper left hand corner of the blog.
